Statement:
The Auq is what appeared in the gallery when the imaginary world and our reality collided. The Auq attempts for the viewer to reconcile with or simply remember their greatest childhood fears and childhood imaginary monsters.
This idea came from my realization that all humans grow out of 'childhood fears' by realizing their real and more possible fears. And my fascination with someone I knew who during their childhood saw (most likely) imaginary monsters.
One may walk into the Auq and witness other monsters living within it. No one, even the people who caught a glimpse of the Auq during the show will ever get to see the innards of an Auq again.
